I am so honoured to get to review some fabulous yarn for you today from Hobbii. Hobbii is a yarn company based in Copenhagen Denmark. They offer a wide variety of yarns, knitting needles crochet hooks & other fiber arts tools at affordable prices.
Hobbii not only has all the tools you need but also many fantastic patterns, both free and paid for.
Hobbii also offers refunds! Which is rare in the yarn community. They are also known for their great customer service and quick shipping. It is actually shocking sometimes how fast their orders arrive given the distance it travelling to me here in Canada.
Now this is a sponsored post, but I have purchased from Hobbii in the past and always had a great experience. Even though I was "gifted" this yarn I will be providing my honest opinions.
I was able to choose 5 different yarn to review for you all and below are my choices! I also have listed a few hobbii patterns for each yarn that stood out to me. BUT I highly recommend you go and check out their extensive library of both free & paid for patterns!
You can check out all their awesome goodies by clicking here!

My thoughts: Even more beautiful in person. The depth of color is gorgeous. This yarn is a tad on the rougher or "woolier" side but not by much. It is just not as buttery soft as some of the other yarns I picked. I cannot wait to work with this yarn. I think this would make a lovely shawl. It is however on the pricier side, but if you are looking to splurge a bit I highly recommend.

My Thoughts:Softer then I was expecting to be honest. While not as soft as the other yarns for some reason I was expecting a very scratchy yarn and I was surprised. My one thing and this is likely a me issue, but the Chai color looked more off white in the shop photo and actually is i'd say a very light pale pink. This is fine because I like pink but I know not everyone is a fan.
This is the one yarn I have finished a project with. A made a Harlow Worsted by Andrea Mowrey which is a 2-color brioche hat. This yarn worked up beautifully, was lovely to knit with & frogged easily LOL I made a mistake a few rows in and had to start again and was pleasantly surprised how easily this roving style yarn frogged.

Did you know that Hobbii hosts competitions?.... because I didn't!
There are always a variety of competitions on the go that you can enter. Each competition has a theme (i.e. Dishcloths) and you can use your own pattern or someone else's (just make sure to credit the designer!!!!).
All you have to do to enter a competition is post a photo of your entry on Hobbii's site & your social media using the competition specific hashtag.
The winner will receive a 100USD/80GBP/100EUR Hobbii gift card!!!!!!!!
Make sure you check out the competitions page for all the details & check back regularly for new challenges.
BINGO
I also didn't know that hobbii has a bingo App available for both Android and IOS.
Each game takes about 40 minutes and you can win a variety of awesome prizes from yarn to crochet hooks to accessories! HOW COOL?!?!??!
To be honest I am not 100% sure if the game is in english, but it looks like the game is pretty automated. Hey maybe this will be a fun way to learn a new language LOL.
