Repeat row 1 & 2 until all stitches are worked and 16 (18,20) remain, cut yarn*

*Cutting the yarn is optional. This is how I prefer to knit my socks magic loop because then I can keep all the foot stitches on needle 1 and the front of the sock on needle 2. That way I am decreasing only on needle 1.

Gusset decrease

Pick up 1 stitch between back and front of sock to close the gap, pick up 14 (16,18) stitches along the side of heel flap, K across, Pick up 14 (16,18) stitches down the other side of the heel flap, pick up one extra stitch in between front and back of sock to close gap. (needle 1)

K across front of sock (needle 2)

Round 2:K across back of sock (needle 1)

Repeat these 2 rounds until you get back to your original total stitch count of 56(64,72)

Foot

Round 1:K across ALL stitches (both needles)

Round 2: K across bottom of sock (needle 1)

K1,P1 across top of sock (needle 2)

If you are unsure when to start your toe and cannot try them on I found a great blog post with multiple charts explaining when to start toe decreases for most shoe sizes! Check it out HERE.
