I had just learned to knit socks at the end of 2020 and I did my first sock test knit for the Sporty Shorty Socks by perfectly knotted
I also did some yarn dying!
February
I then wrote my first sock pattern using some of the yarn I dyed
I also received my first sponsored package from KnitPicks!!!
March
I started designing my second sock pattern & tested another pair for perfectly knotted.
April
I did a review of knitpicks high desert yarn and hosted a giveaway! This is one amazing yarn and was so excited to work with it
I also started my first scrap blanket
May
I did my first crochet test in a long time for the skyline wrap by poppiejoe.co
I also bought some new to me crochet hooks which have become my FAV!
June
I finished my first tapestry crochet project, a skull pillow!
I released my first free sock pattern
July
I test knit what is my now go to winter beanie, the batty beanie by skullandhooks
August
Took a bit of a step back, but came back at the end of the month with a Fall Home decor pattern round up.
September
I started selling both finished knit & hand-dyed yarn/stitch makers at a local artisan shop here in Toronto
October
Released another free sock pattern & tested a sock pattern for abeeinabonnet
I also got the reddoorfs The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina advent!!!!
November
All the pre-order yarn I bought started to arrive haha.
December
I released a new beanie pattern, the ash cable beanie!
These are just some highlights of course but overall a pretty good yarn year lol!
